Liberal Meme: GOP wants to cut but don't know how. Reality: Details of Rand Paul’s plan to cut $500 billion.

Liberals have been harking that the GOP talks about cuts but won't say what they want to cut. That's been the meme for months now after the Dems got crushed at the ballot box in November. Of course, what is not said that had individual members released their personal preferences, the establishment MSM would have been on them like ugly on a gorilla, grilling each one and releasing scare stories of how they want to kick grandma down the stairs. Well so much for the meme as the GOP has indeed released a plan.

Paul's plan is not the same as the other one offered by the GOP: House GOP Lists $2.5 Trillion in Spending Cuts. Paul's plan to cut $500 billion is for one year! It's even more ambitious. From the Washington Examiner via Instapundit: A detailed look at the Rand Paul spending bill
