The iconic Jesus statue in Brazil’s Rio is 125 feet tall. By comparison, the one erected in Poland stands 108 feet tall, or 33 meters - 1 meter for every year of Jesus life. The statue in Poland is called "Christ the King:" Here's what the finished statue in Swiebodzinlooks like:

Even though Poland is majority Roman Catholic, they have secular progressives just like we do that don't like the statue one bit. From the AP via The Oakland Press:

Nice. Just like here in the US. How long before they start equating Jesus with the flying spaghetti monster. History repeats itself:
