"Look, if we keep this conversation I'm gonna have to talk to my manager and yeah, [your boyfriend]'s gonna get in trouble," but promises, "I'm not gonna tell anybody, ok?" She adds, "And please don't say that I told you this." When Rose tells the counselor she thinks her boyfriend will get in trouble if her parents find out, the counselor advises Rose to lie about the man's age when speaking to a judge in order to obtain a bypass of Tennessee's parental consent law for abortion: "Don't mention it. Just say you have a boyfriend 17 years old...whatever."Bunch of ghouls working for an evil organization. This particular counselor states she was acting independently AGAINST Planned Parenthood policies and the law.
ReplyDeleteA bigger issue for me is that these damn local Republican Prosecutors will NOT prosecute statutory rape of minors. Even when we get confessions or have DNA evidence, they will not prosecute. It's a big problem in that I see the same damn men getting multiple minors pregnant. The girls are losers from loser families who don't love them, but the men are serial abusers, looking for younger and younger minds & bodies.
Also bigger problem is that the Republican's and most of the Democrats now, too, all are in the pocket of big business and will not curb the media sexualization of children. The commercials and t.v. shows are promoting sex to children to a sick degree.
